Kind Of Odd

Kind Of Odd

THIS motherfucker has been bitching since I started making it and the whole affair has been riddled with accidents, mishaps and minor catastrophies! Even the artwork!! I would like to say that I fucken HATE it but this is such a kick-ass set of songs that I can't.

There might be 2 or 3 songs I regret putting on it, but I guess these growling and crude fuckers just belong together.

Faves? Well, the first and the last are JAWDROPPERS and Electric Sensation's Mary is SLOP SUPREME!

But all in all, pretty well known punkers slapped together in a loving fanboy half-assed fashion.

I've Seen Darker Nights

I've Seen Darker Nights

We've come to my 20th comp and you'd think I'd be runnin' dry, and actually I am. Am I good for ten more comps? 20? Dunno.

But let's not think about that and just focus on the batch of moody and dramatic tracks included on this set.
We start out soft with pretty pop-ish with the first few tracks, but then we take a slow dive into the abyss of sorrow and despair.

My faves are Reasons Why and their acidulous Tell Her One More Time, Mad Lads' sombre Everything Is Blue, Barons bitter Time And Time Again, Mystic Five's naïve genious chiming It Doesn't Matter, Vistas' adorable zombi-esque Don't Know, Sounds Unlimited's desperate Nobody But You and finally Facts Of Life's epic I've Seen Darker Nights.

Hope you like.

'Till The Stroke Of Dawn

'Till The Stroke Of Dawn

More moody garage because caveman78 asked for it. And I'm really satisfied with this set.
If I had to choose the song that stuck with me the most it'd be It's So Hard by the Hucksters
But all are really great moody garage from start to finish.
Oh yeah, Ode To The Wind (Danny & the Counts' flip to the garage classic You Need Love) is totally awesome too.

Unchained Sixties Garage Punk

Unchained Sixties Garage Punk

LOOK OUT baits - this one's HOT!
Crude genious, all of 'em, but check these tracks a little extra:

Tempos - All That I Really Want
AAAARGH, I don't know WHAT possessed me to REPEAT this fucker! I already put it on Crude Sixties Garage posted below! Might be because it fuckin rocks.

Swaydes - Anymore
Ruff'n'tuff crude garage. Beats Action Woman's ass.

Stone Cutters - Fellow Slave
Galloping outsider punker. RUN!

Blue Chips - Where
Throaty growling punk.

Mad Mad Mad

Mad Mad Mad

No this ain't a themed disc - these tracks ain't unusually 'MAD'. I just needed to call the set something and 'Mad' always looks good in print.
No most of these bad puppies are crude punkers and some moody stuff. So, business as usual.

The first 5 tracks are total all time faves of mine. Total killers. ESPECIALLY 4th Amendment's Always Blue which is superfucking genius.

Abstracts Always Always was new to me - awesome uptempo punk!
Check out If I Didn't Love You Girl by Travis Pike's Tea Party - ARGHAHW!!! A solo to KILL for!! KILLER 68 punk!!
We close with a swingin punker courtesy of Modds - Don't Be Late.

My Way Of Life

My Way Of Life

Hello again, friends. I'm back again with a new bunch of trash.
This set is packed with well known monsters and perfect to play to the uninitiated.
The are slightly tinged with psych, but not too much.
The sound is killer as always.

My faves here are Shags' It Hurts Me Bad, Night Walkers' Sticks & Stones and Teemates' Movin' Out.

Monster Garage

Monster Garage

Very satisfied with these covers, good thing since that Prime Slime almost put me totally off the whole 'make-yer-own-cover' scene.

Not all songs featured are out-n-out garage MONSTERS like Evil, Chosen Few or Cavemen but it is solid kick-ass garage just the same. Just check out Evil Enc. Group, Executioners or Rain and say it's not life-ruiningly cool.

Prime Slime

Prime Slime

This FUCKER has been riddled with mishaps, it has been done, redone and redone again. It took me forever to make the cover and I wasn't satisfied at all and the back just sucks.
I dun know, it just pisses me off. It just felt like a half-assed - no - QUARTER-assed affair on my part.

Good this the songs rocks . I really don't wanna talk more about it since I get so aggravated..

PS
The songs are not too well synced in volume, you fix that, I can't be bothered. Easily done in iTunes or what have you.. fuuuck..

Classic Garage Punk

Classic Garage Punk

Got Classic Garage Punk? Here we got some classic garage punk - in spades.
And in glorious Quality Sound, courtesy of one epic OZ collector...
I got so amped up by the kind words that I just had to make this 'un in flac too!

If yer a prominent garage-head, I'm sure ya know all the tracks here. Fuck, d-load it as a playlist or sumpin', use it while commuting. I just hope you find use for it.

One Year Ago Today

One Year Ago Today

Aaah, more moody garage.. I was scraping the barrel of my faves this time so this should be the last moody comp for quite some time.
A bunch of incredible tracks all of 'em. Don't think too many of them has been comped, and if they have it was most probably in inferior quality.

Well what can I say? Download, download, download.
And could someone pleeeease print the backsides, haha, I really try to make them look as good as possible!

In The Cover Of Night

In The Cover Of Night

I really went out of my way to try and make a nice cover for this'un.  I'm very satisfied.
I hope you print the back too because that took me a good 2 hours to create..

The comp? Well if this was 25 years ago, it would be considered one of the best.
Awesome sound and killer standard garage track after track.
It is not as primitive or crude as the latest postings but I'm all for dynamics, man.

And hey - don't forget to kill rock'n'roll for 60s garage PUNK!

Sixties Raw Garage

Sixties Raw Garage

Hmm, I pretty much effortlessly put together this comp today and I was so satisfied with the cover that I couldn't help but to share it.
This is a sibling to Sixties Primitive Garage & Sixties Crude Garage and is just full of awesome tracks.
No fuzztravaganzas here, just cool music to listen to while you suck on a bottle.
I strongly recommend this disc.

Descend Into Madness

Descend Into Madness

This time the fuckin BACK got blurry! But as I said before - I know what I did wrong and I won't repeat it.
This is a sister-volume to We're All Mad (posted below).
If anyone argues the 'punkadelica' tag - fuck you.. who cares. Labels schlabels.
But every song here is slightly deranged, and/or psychedelic and/or likely to enhance any eventual tripping you might be up to.
Oh, and I hope you recognize Lou Reed in the Primitive's The Ostrich.
And I'm sure you've heard I Know Why by Hallmarks. Hope Soul Shakin' Psychedelic Sally is new to your ears.

That's it for now, see ya'll later when I've got anything new to post.

Canadian Monsters

Canadian Monsters

God damn, the cover got blurry! I know what's wrong now and I won't repeat the mistake. But this is the cover you'll get!
The track selection should make up for the shitty cover - ALL KILLERS!
No surprises here if you already have the Wyld Canada CDR comp (which I strongly recommend you track down), if you don't, you're in for a surprise.

Sixties Primitive Garage

Sixties Primitive Garage

I'm still kicking myself in the head for writing MysticAL Five instead of Mystic Five..so stupid..
Not as crude as the Crude Garage comp but packing just as much action - here is the Sixties Primitive Garage comp!
Promise to check out Daddy Was A Rollin' Stone - awesome tune! No disco at all.

Hope y'all dig this!

Sixties Crude Garage

Sixties Crude Garage

Some very Crude stuff cooking here. And some more tracks that allegedly was on the Back From The Grave shortlist (Paupers, Jazzmasters, Jonathan w. Orchestra..).
We also get treated to two famous rockers early bands - Castiles (Bruce Springsteen) and Iguanas (Iggy Pop).
You also get Armand Schaubroec's Kack Klick and Church Mice - an overload of CRUDENESS!
You heard the Classics The World Can't Take Time on The Dead And The Forgotten-comp posted below, now suffer their KILLER Mean Woman.
We also get treated to the flipside to Hotbeats Listen - the wild instro Injun.

Hope you'll have as much fun listening as I had compiling.

Pre-Teen Beat Tantrum

Pre-Teen Beat Tantrum

This comp just HAD to be made, strange it hasn't before.
16 songs made by kids, pre-teens and/or really young teens. But this is all high-class material with doomy ballads and tuff rock'n'roll. I didn't think it would play as well as it did so I really recommend this set.
I have another set of pre-teen garage in the making but I need to get some other stuff out of the way first..

We're All Mad

We're All Mad

Punkadelia. Some classics, some not so classic but still awesome, and all sounding better than ever.
Don' miss out on this savage trip.

Love Is Tuff

Love Is Tuff

Just so you know - I don't own any original 45s. I wouldn't be able to do this shit if it wasn't for hardcore collectors and kindhearted souls who share their collection with us poor bastards without a bank account.
So buy some stuff every once in a while to keep 'em going, will ya?

So this set is me cherry-picking from a bunch of other comps and the like..
They are all moody and/or doomy and/or gloomy.
So turn off the light, pour yourself a glass of red wine and remember when your heart was young and broken.

The Dead And Forgotten

The Dead And Forgotten

I made this comp from mp3s I have found while sniffing round the internet.
It is a collection of songs that has been on the Back From The Grave #9 shortlist plus a coupla tracks that just fit. 100% action here babies, no fillers. And some might be new to your ears, I hope.
